About Me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has been providing treatment to children, adolescents, and parents for over a decade in multiple settings.
I’ve worked with children of all ages, from 3 to 18, using evidence-based treatment models to help them reach their therapy goals. These treatment models include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches.
A bit about my education: I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Duke University and completed my internship at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University and my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Psychiatry.
Beyond my accreditation, I am committed to keeping up with the most relevant research and practice guidelines in my field. I strive to give the highest level of care and support to my clients and their parents and caregivers.
As a provider, I am committed to affirming the worth and value of all, and strive to honor our many individual differences. I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all backgrounds and identities, including but not limited to: race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, immigration status, religious or spiritual beliefs, physical and cognitive abilities, and size and appearance.
