Parent Training

Parenting is one of life's greatest joys, but it can be full of challenges, too. You don't need to meet those challenges alone! I'm here to help.

How “Parent Training” Works

If parents or caregivers need support, want to learn how they can support their kids at home, or want to get ideas for how to handle challenging behaviors, parent training is a great approach. In parent training, I meet with parents or caregivers instead of with the child to talk tools and strategies. In our sessions, I want parents to feel validated and heard — parenting is difficult, and I can give you a space to talk about it.

Things We Can Work on Together

  • Helping your child manage fears and worries

  • Establishing and following through on healthy routines in the home

  • Developing strategies to help support your child with ADHD and/or executive functioning deficits

  • Finding ways to help your neurodiverse child thrive

  • Utilizing evidence-based strategies for the management of screen time

  • Navigating challenging behaviors in childhood and adolescence

  • Learning strategies to help better validate and communicate with your teen

  • Providing space to support new parents
